WaveNET Array - Isle of Muck

Through a collaboration between Albatern and Marine Harvest Scotland, a 14-week pilot study in Scotland was undertaken to assess the potential for wave energy to power offshore finfish aquaculture operations. Three Albatern WaveNET arrays, known as SQUID generating units, were deployed off the Isle of Muck. Deployment and maintenance costs of they array were reduced by using small recurrent components. paper provides an FMEA analysis of the different WaveNET deployments.
